Hyde Park Blast Announces Blast Mobile Results
Buzz360 and The End Result Bring Exciting Mobile Platform to the Event
On Saturday, June 27th, more than 8,000 participants and spectators will come together in the fight against cancer as they take part in the 8th Annual Hyde Park Blast. The event includes Ohio’s 4-mile USATF and RRCA Championship, a Blast for Kids, criterium bike races and a large post-race block party with live music by the Rusty Griswolds. The challenging 4-mile course has been recognized as one of the area’s most scenic residential courses and is a favorite among elite runners. The 4-mile walk and run will begin at 8 a.m. with a separate elite race beginning at 9:15 a.m.
This year the event will be offering a new Blast Mobile platform for all participants. The integrated and innovative platform is supported by Buzz360 a local mobile technology provider and The End Result who handles the chip timing of the event. The mobile platform will stream live results, presented by The Running Spot and Brooks, to race participants' mobile phones. Unique event content, exclusive promotions from select sponsors, race week updates, and even a race day prize scavenger hunt will also be part of the campaign while highlighting cool technology for all participants who opt in. The Blast will be one of the first events in the country to use these exclusive mobile sponsor promotions that are also eco-friendly and will replace printed coupons used in the past.
